Two Green Thumbs Garden Club

Our gardens are spread throughout our Knightdale community - each one thoughtfully designed, lovingly maintained, and open for all to enjoy. 

Pullium Garden

This is one is 25 years old! Located opposite the corner of First Avenue and Main Street, and alongside the Red Caboose in Knightdale, NC. Come rest in our garden! 

The Circle

The Circle

Located at the Roundabout on McKnight Drive near Lowe's Home Improvement, Knightdale, NC.

This garden features a historic clock tower and flowering plants and shrubs to brighten your day.

Butterfly and Native Gardens

The Butterfly and Native Gardens

Located at the East Regional Library   946 Steeple Square Court. Knightdale, NC and at the entrance to the Knightdale Environmental Park.

 

Colorful and playful! Come see our beautiful native and pollinator plants, along with garden art that delight your senses and feed your soul.

 

While you are there, also check out our Native Bluebird Trail in the nearby Environmental Park and also behind Lowe's Home Improvement.

The Wildflower Meadow Garden

The Wildflower Meadow

Located in the back of Knightdale Station Park, near the disk golf course, this native plant meadow is full of bursting with colorful flowers and butterflies in the summertime. A little piece of paradise supporting wildlife!  

Our handpainted sign is a reflection of the many talents we have in our club! 

The Point Garden

The Point

Located at the intersection of Smithfield Road and Main Street (a gateway to Knightdale), this lovely woodland-edge garden features colorful plants, seasonal decorations and a Knightdale sign to welcome visitors.

The Pollinator Garden

The Pollinator Garden

This delightful hidden garden is located inside Knightdale Station Park, just follow the path to the left of the splashpad and down the hill, you will find it.

The garden features many native plants, trees and shrubs to beautify Knightdale and promote a healthy environment in support of wildlife.

Harper Park Sensory Garden 

Sensory Garden

Located in Harper Park at 209 Main Street, Knightdale, NC. This special garden features a raised bed to allow handicapped accessibility to the plants. It contains flowers and herbs that will delight your senses! The plants are bright and colorful, as well as smell good, feel good, and taste good! Come check it out!

This site also features a Free Community Seed Library which offers free seeds for flowers, herbs and vegetables. We also accept seeds if you have some to share!

Rex Pink Garden

Rex Pink Garden

Breast Cancer Awareness Garden at Rex Wellness Center, located outside the UNC REX Wellness Center of Knightdale.

This garden is designed with pink and white flowers arranged in the shape of a breast cancer awareness ribbon, symbolizing hope, remembrance, and support for those impacted by breast cancer. It serves both as an uplifting space for survivors and patients and as a memorial honoring those who have passed.

 

Veteran's Gardens

Veteran's Gardens

Located in Veteran's Memorial Park within Knightdale Station Park on Whistle Post Way. This garden features a multi-tiered circular garden around the central flag pole as well as two separate gardens around the Blue Star and Gold Star Memorials that honor our fallen soldiers and their families. This park area aslo features granite monuments to honor fallen members of each branch of service.

Since 2018, Knightdale is proud to be the first community in the entire state to have both the Blue and Gold Star markers.

Each of these community gardens are lovingly maintained by volunteers of Two Green Thumbs Garden Club, who water, weed, and plant, our way to a beautiful Knightdale. Our community gardens are a source of pride for the whole community.
